Description

Get ready to dive into the world of Gotham City with the Batman: Gotham City Chronicles – Mr. Freeze (New 52) expansion. This exciting addition to the base game brings the chilling villain Mr. Freeze to life, with a miniature figure and new gameplay mechanics that will put your skills to the test. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you and your friends can jump into the action in no time, exploring the dark alleys and crime-ridden streets of Gotham City. Designed by Frédéric Henry, this expansion offers a fresh and thrilling experience that combines action, adventure, and strategy, perfect for 2 to 4 players looking for a fun and immersive game night. As you play, you'll encounter the tragic backstory of Victor Fries, a cryogenics specialist turned villain after a freak accident left him dependent on subzero temperatures to survive. Now, as Mr. Freeze, he's using his genius-level intellect to wreak havoc on Gotham City, armed with an arsenal of icy weapons and a suit that keeps him frozen and focused. With the ability to recruit Mr. Freeze in Versus Mode or substitute him into the corebox Adventure Mode Mission "An Icy Welcome", you'll need to be on your toes to outsmart this formidable foe. The expansion includes everything you need to bring Mr. Freeze to life, including a miniature figure, character tiles, lifepoint tokens, and a versus power card in both English and French. With 60 to 90 minutes of playtime, you'll have plenty of time to explore the city, battle against Mr. Freeze, and experience the thrill of the game. The game mechanics, including action points, action queue, area movement, dice rolling, team-based gameplay, variable phase order, and variable player powers, all come together to create a dynamic and engaging experience. Whether you're a fan of comic books, superheroes, or just great gameplay, the Batman: Gotham City Chronicles – Mr. Freeze (New 52) expansion is the perfect addition to your gaming collection, offering a fun and challenging experience that will keep you coming back for more.
