Description
Beardsmith is a ridiculously fun and fast-paced tile placement game where you get to be a dwarven beard stylist apprentice, competing against your fellow apprentices to become the ultimate Beardsmith. With simple rules to learn, you'll be up and running in no time, trying to outwit your opponents and make the best impression on the important customer who's just walked in. The goal is to have the least number of open ends in your color at the end of the game, but watch out - the other apprentices won't hesitate to sabotage you with a snip of their shears or a sticky piece of bubble gum. As you take turns playing tiles on the customer's face, you'll need to match neighboring tiles and strategically use special tiles like scissors, gum, and wild tiles to get ahead. With each player having their own draw pile and color, the game is full of unpredictable twists and turns. You'll draw a tile and play one of your four tiles, trying to minimize those pesky open ends and maximize your score. The game may only take 15 to 25 minutes to play, but with 1 to 6 players, you can expect a hilarious and action-packed experience every time. In the end, the player with the highest score wins, earning points for each visible tile in their color and losing points for open ends and braided ends that touch gum tiles. With its unique blend of humor, puzzle-solving, and tile placement mechanics, Beardsmith is a game that will keep you coming back for more. So gather your friends, get ready for some beard-filled mayhem, and see who will be crowned the ultimate Beardsmith. With its easy-to-learn rules and quick playtime, Beardsmith is the perfect game for a fun night in with friends or a quick break from the usual routine.
