Description
In Beer & Bread, you and your opponent take on the roles of two medieval villages, each striving to outdo the other in brewing beer and baking bread. Founded on the grounds of an old monastery, these villages share resources and fields, but a friendly rivalry drives them to produce the best goods. Over six years, alternating between fruitful and dry seasons, you'll need to manage resources, produce and sell your wares, and upgrade your facilities. As you navigate the ups and downs of farming and production, keep in mind that balance is key. At the end of the six years, you'll only score coins from the type of good - beer or bread - that you earned less of. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 30 to 45 minutes, Beer & Bread is a fun and engaging game for two players, designed by Scott Almes and published in 2022.
