Description
Step into the dusty hills and scorching plains of the Horn of Africa with Ben Madison’s 2025 solo wargame, Black Skin Black Shirt: Ethiopia vs. Fascist Italy 1935‑37. In about an hour to an hour and a half you’ll command the brave Ethiopian forces, wrestling with logistics, terrain and the relentless push of Mussolini’s mechanized legions. The game’s area‑movement board and dice‑driven combat keep every turn feeling tense and unpredictable, while the simulation‑style depth rewards strategic thinking without drowning you in rule‑book jargon. It’s a solo adventure that feels like a living history lesson—your decisions shape the fate of an underdog nation fighting a modern fascist empire. If you love WWII‑themed board games with a solid mix of strategy, luck, and narrative flavor, this one‑player showdown delivers a gripping, immersive experience you can dive into again and again.
