Description
Blokus is a fun and challenging abstract strategy game that's easy to learn and plays quickly, typically in about 20 minutes. Players take turns placing transparent, Tetris-shaped pieces onto the board, trying to fit as many of their 21 pieces as possible. The twist is that each new piece must be placed touching at least one corner of an existing piece, but not adjacent to it, which requires some clever thinking and planning. With two to four players competing to cover the most space on the board, Blokus is a great game for families or friends looking for a lighthearted yet strategic challenge. The game's simple rules and lack of necessary in-game text make it accessible to players of all ages and languages, and its compact playtime means you can easily fit in a game or two in a single sitting.
