Description

Bushido: Rising Rage is an exciting expansion to the base game Bushido, and it's all about unleashing your fury on the battlefield. Designed by Pedro Mendoza and released in 2019, this expansion is perfect for 2 to 4 players looking to add some fresh twists to their gameplay experience. With a playtime of just 20 to 30 minutes, you can dive into the world of martial mastery and intense combat in no time. The rules are simple and easy to grasp, making it accessible to new players, while the added mechanics will thrill veteran players of the base game. The expansion introduces a bunch of new goodies to the game, including 5 new dice, 4 new weapons with 8 cards, and 20 new techniques, along with 3 additional Basic School cards. As the name suggests, Rising Rage focuses on the rage mechanic, giving players more ways to acquire and use rage tokens. The new cards and dice are designed to help you collect and spend these tokens, allowing for more strategic gameplay and exciting combat possibilities. For example, the new dice feature a Rage Result, which lets you collect rage tokens without changing your guard, adding a new layer of strategy to your attacks. With the addition of Rising Rage, the game becomes even more engaging and challenging, especially when played with the 4-player rules. The expansion tweaks the rules slightly, such as randomizing the selection of weapons, but overall, it adds more depth and variety to the gameplay. This means you'll have more opportunities to showcase your martial skills and manipulate the power of your attacks. Whether you're a fan of the base game or new to the world of Bushido, Rising Rage is a great way to experience the thrill of fantasy combat and intense competition with friends and family.
