Description
Café whips up a tasty blend of quick‑thinking and strategy that feels just as satisfying as a fresh espresso. In 20‑45 minutes you and up to three friends (or solo, thanks to the built‑in solitaire mode) draft cards, place tiles on a neat square grid, and juggle action points to fill contracts and grow your little coffee empire. The rules are dead simple, so you can jump straight into the fun of pattern‑building, melding, and splaying your way to the highest‑or‑lowest scores, depending on the contract you’re chasing. With its easy‑to‑learn mechanics—card drafting, tile placement, and grid coverage—you’ll be brewing up clever combos before you know it, and there’s no heavy text to slow you down. Designed by Costa and Rôla in 2020, the base game already packs plenty of replay value, and the EXPRESSO expansion and a couple of promo cards (Lisboa and Lviv) add extra flavors for those who want a little more caffeine‑charged chaos.
