Description
Champions of Midgard is a Viking-themed game where players take on the role of leaders of Viking clans, working together to defend a harbor town against trolls, draugr, and other mythological Norse beasts. By defeating these creatures, players earn glory and the favor of the gods, with the ultimate goal of becoming the Jarl, or champion of Midgard. The game is designed for 2 to 4 players and typically takes 60 to 90 minutes to play. Players use a combination of worker placement, dice rolling, and resource management to collect resources, build ships, and feed their followers, all while battling against the town's enemies. With its normal complexity level, the game is easy to learn for those familiar with board games, and the necessary text is minimal and easily memorized. As players journey to neighboring villages or across the sea, they'll need to strategically use their resources and warriors to gain the most glory and emerge victorious.
