Description

Get ready to unleash your inner sculptor in Cholas, a strategic board game for 1 to 5 players. In this 60 to 90 minute game, you'll compete to build the most impressive temple tower, using stones from across the empire to outdo your rivals. The rules are easy to learn, but don't be fooled - this game requires careful planning and pattern building to come out on top. As you place stones on the temple structure, you'll earn rewards for using other sculptors' stones, but the real challenge is creating patterns with your own stones to maximize your points. As the game progresses, you'll need to balance building the temple with strategic stone placement, all while trying to thwart your opponents' plans. With its unique blend of pattern building, set collection, and tile placement mechanics, Cholas is a thrilling abstract strategy game that will keep you on your toes. Designed by Madhu Sundar and published in 2023, this base game is perfect for fans of puzzle games and competitive players alike. Will you emerge as the best sculptor and claim the top spot, or will your rivals outmaneuver you? There's only one way to find out - gather your friends and start building your temple tower today.
