Description

Get ready to dive back into the world of Cleopatra and the Society of Architects with the exciting new expansion, The Cult of Sobek. This deluxe edition add-on brings a fresh layer of strategy and excitement to the base game, introducing the powerful and mysterious Crocodile God, Sobek. As one of 2 to 4 players, you'll need to navigate the simple yet engaging game rules, which can be explained quickly, to outmaneuver your opponents and build the most impressive structures in ancient Egypt. As you play, you'll have the opportunity to appease Sobek and earn his mercy, which can help you shed some of your corruption. But be warned, his generosity is limited, so you'll need to act fast to build a statue in his honor and reap the rewards. With game mechanics like auction/bidding, enclosure, hand management, and set collection, you'll need to stay on your toes and manage your resources carefully to come out on top. Designed by the renowned Bruno Cathala and Ludovic Maublanc, this 2020 expansion is a must-have for fans of the original game, offering a new level of challenge and excitement to the city-building, mythology-themed fun.
