Crimson Company

Friends and Communities with Crimson Company

Description

If you're looking for a game that's all about assembling the perfect team to conquer the land, then Crimson Company: Wildwood Tales is the way to go. This expansion adds a whole new set of mystical creatures to the mix, giving you even more options when it comes to building your army of sellswords. With simple rules that can be explained in no time, you'll be diving into the world of fantasy and bidding on the most valuable characters in no time. Whether you're playing solo or with up to three friends, you'll be able to enjoy this game in a relatively short amount of time, with playtime ranging from 10 to 30 minutes. The goal of the game is to conquer two out of three castles, and you do this by amassing more strength than your opponent in each castle's lane. The twist is that you don't know which characters will come up for grabs, and you'll have to bid coins on the ones you want. Your opponent can then choose to either pay you off, doubling the coins you bid, or pass and let you play the card. This means you'll need to think strategically and make some tough decisions if you want to come out on top. The cards themselves are where the real fun begins, with unique effects and strengths that can turn the tide of battle in your favor. With the addition of Wildwood Tales, new players can also be introduced to the game more easily thanks to a set of vanilla cards that have no effects, making it simpler for them to learn the ropes. Designed by Fabian Fischer and Dario Reinhardt, and released in 2021, this expansion is a great way to breathe new life into the base game, whether you're playing with the original Crimson Company or the Collector's Box. So why not gather your friends, get ready to bid, and see who will come out victorious in the world of Crimson Company: Wildwood Tales?
