Description
Cthulhu Wars: Ancients is a thrilling expansion to the base game, designed by Sandy Petersen and Lincoln Petersen. Released in 2018, this game is perfect for 2 to 5 players who are familiar with board games, as the rules are of normal complexity. In this game, you'll play as the Ancients Faction, a human-oriented faction that must rely on diplomacy and negotiations to succeed, as they don't have their own Great Old One. As you travel across the world, you'll need to build Cathedrals in specific areas, and your special faction ability, Dematerialization, will come in handy for movement. With action points, area movement, dice rolling, and variable player powers, this game offers a unique blend of mechanics. With a playtime of 90 to 120 minutes, you'll be fully immersed in the world of Cthulhu Wars, using your creatures and spellbooks to outmaneuver your opponents and emerge victorious.
