Designed by Sandy Petersen and Lincoln Petersen, this game is perfect for 2 to 8 players looking for a fun and intense experience that lasts around 90 to 120 minutes. The rules are simple to learn, making it easy for new players to jump in, but don't be fooled - the gameplay is full of depth and complexity, with mechanics like action points, area movement, dice rolling, and variable player powers that will keep you on the edge of your seat. In this expansion, you'll encounter terrifying new figures like the Dark Demon, the Shadow Pharaoh, the Bloated Woman, and the Haunter of the Dark, each with its own unique abilities and strengths. The Dark Demon can be a powerful asset, while the Shadow Pharaoh can drive cultists off gates, making them vulnerable to capture. The Bloated Woman can steal killed enemies and transform gates to produce Elder Signs, and the Haunter of the Dark is a formidable combat creature with a devastating spellbook ability. With these new additions, you'll need to strategize and adapt to emerge victorious in this fight for supernatural supremacy.
