Description

Get ready to experience one of the most pivotal battles in British history with CULLODEN: The Last of The '45, a game designed by Roger Deal. This game drops you into the midst of the Battle of Culloden, where the fate of the British throne hangs in the balance. It's April 16, 1746, and the Duke of Cumberland's government army is facing off against Prince Charles Edward Stuart's fierce Highlanders on the soggy moors of Drummossie. The odds are against the Scots, outnumbered 2 to 1, but they've got the spirit of a lion in every Celtic breast and a year's worth of battle victories to fuel their ferocity. As a player, you'll take on the role of one of these two forces, navigating the hexagon grid to outmaneuver your opponent. The rules are easy to learn, making it simple to dive right into the action. With its unique blend of strategy and historical significance, CULLODEN: The Last of The '45 is a must-play for fans of wargames and the Age of Reason. The game is designed for 2 players, and while the playtime may vary, the thrill of the battle is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. Will you lead the government army to victory, or will the Highlanders emerge triumphant once again? There's only one way to find out.
