Description
Das Krokodil-Spiel is a quick and simple game for two players that's all about outsmarting your opponent. The game takes place on a 4 by 8 "river" board, where one player controls two green crocodiles and the other player has a red rowing boat. The goal is to reach the opposite bank first, but getting there is not as easy as it sounds. The boat player secretly chooses a column to move to, and the crocodile player has to guess which one it is and place their crocodiles to block the boat. The game is a thrilling duel of bluffing and guessing, with no complex tactics involved. The crocodile player has to rely on their instincts to try and stop the boat, while the boat player tries to outmaneuver them. With a playtime of just 5 minutes, Das Krokodil-Spiel is a great game for a quick break or a fun addition to a game night. First published in 1987, this abstract strategy game has been entertaining players for decades with its simple yet engaging gameplay. Despite its simplicity, the game requires a good amount of strategic thinking and luck, making it a great choice for players of all ages and skill levels.
