Description

De Reuzendans, which translates to "The Giants' Dance", is a fun and interactive board game designed by Andries Geldof, perfect for 2 to 5 players. Released in 2020, this game is great for families and can be enjoyed by people of all ages, especially those who love a little competition. The game is set in the Belgian city of Dendermonde, where three famous Giants are known for their beautiful looks and impressive dancing skills, all while being carried by porters. In De Reuzendans, you get to be one of these Giants, navigating through the city and trying to outdo your opponents with your best dance moves at the city's famous squares. The gameplay is simple to learn, making it accessible to everyone, and can be explained quickly. Each turn, you play a card to make a move, and you can also play cards to dance, trying to outclass the other Giants. With every player having the same stack of cards, winning requires good timing, a bit of luck, and strategic decision-making about when to engage in dance battles. The game is relatively short, lasting between 20 to 50 minutes, making it a great option for a fun and entertaining evening with friends and family. With its unique blend of auction, track movement, and time track mechanics, De Reuzendans offers a thrilling experience that will keep you on your toes.
