Description

Descent: Journeys in the Dark just got a whole lot more exciting with the Crown of Destiny expansion, which brings a fresh wave of heroes and monsters to the tabletop. This expansion is all about introducing new characters to the world of Terrinoth, where up to five players can embark on thrilling adventures filled with dice rolling, grid movement, and hand management. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just familiar with board games, you'll have no issue diving into the action, thanks to rules of normal complexity. The Crown of Destiny expansion adds four noble heroes to the mix, each with their own unique abilities and strengths. Corbin, Lindel, Jaes the Exile, and Brother Gherinn are ready to stand against the forces of darkness, fighting to protect the people of Terrinoth. But they won't be alone - a host of vile monsters, including giants, chaos beasts, and lava beetles, will be joining the battle, making each quest a challenging and unpredictable ride. With two brand-new quests, Burning Harvest and Crown of Destiny, you'll have plenty of opportunities to test your mettle and reshape the future of Terrinoth. As a "Hero and Monster Collection" expansion, Crown of Destiny is the perfect addition to your Descent: Journeys in the Dark collection, offering a wealth of new content to explore. Designed by Nathan I. Hajek and Tim Uren, this 2014 expansion is a must-have for fans of adventure, dice, and fantasy games. So gather your friends, choose your heroes, and get ready to face whatever dangers lie ahead - the fate of Terrinoth is in your hands. With its modular board, team-based gameplay, and variable player powers, Crown of Destiny promises hours of thrilling entertainment for 2 to 5 players.
