Description

Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) – Raythen Lieutenant Pack is an exciting addition to the Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) game, offering a new way to play with the dwarf rogue Raythen. This expansion pack gives you the flexibility to use Raythen as either a hero or as the overlord's lieutenant, depending on your preference. As a hero, Raythen's abilities can be a game-changer, allowing you to reroll attribute tests and potentially snag search tokens more quickly. This can be especially useful in quests outside of the Labyrinth of Ruin campaign, where every advantage counts. But Raythen's skills aren't limited to just the heroes - as the overlord, you can use the "Skulduggery Plot" deck to turn the tables on your opponents. With cards like "Foiled Again", you can steal search tokens from the heroes and keep the best treasures out of their reach. This can be a great way to slow down the heroes' progress and keep them from getting too powerful. The Raythen Lieutenant Pack is designed to integrate seamlessly with the base game, and its normal complexity level means that fans of Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) will be able to jump right in. Whether you're a seasoned player or just looking to mix things up, this expansion pack is a great way to add some new excitement to your games. In a game that's all about strategy and clever play, the Raythen Lieutenant Pack offers a new layer of depth and complexity. With its variable player powers and dice rolling mechanics, Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) is already a thrilling game - and the addition of Raythen's abilities takes it to a whole new level. Whether you're playing with a group of 2 to 5 players, you'll find that the Raythen Lieutenant Pack adds a fresh twist to the game, and its compact design means it's easy to integrate into your existing collection. Published in 2014, this expansion pack has already become a fan favorite, and it's a great way to breathe new life into your Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) games.
