Description
In the game of Dicke Dämonen, you and up to three other players take on the roles of magicians vying to rule the world, which is made up of magical power lines and fields. The game starts with four colored strings placed on the table, overlapping to create power fields and corners where ghosts and demons can be summoned. As a magician, you'll draw wooden pawns from a cloth bag and place them in the power fields, trying to strategically summon ghosts and demons to gain the upper hand. Ghosts freeze everything in terror, while demons appear in the corners of the power fields, each with their own color and abilities. As the game unfolds, each magician has the chance to predict which color will be the strongest in the end, but this comes at a cost and can attract unwanted attention from the other players. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 20 minutes, Dicke Dämonen is a quick and exciting game of abstract strategy and fantasy. Designed by Heinrich Glumpler and first published in 2004, this game requires a combination of betting, bluffing, and enclosure tactics to outmaneuver your opponents and emerge victorious. Will you be the magician who rules the world, or will your opponents outsmart you and claim the title for themselves?
