Description
Die Macher is a game of politics and strategy, where 3 to 5 players take on the role of national party leaders, vying for victory in seven regional elections across Germany. With limited resources at their disposal, players must navigate the complexities of campaign management, forming alliances, and making savvy bids to outmaneuver their opponents. The game is won by accumulating the most victory points, which can be earned through a combination of electoral success, media influence, party membership, and aligning with national opinions. As a game that's been around since 1986, Die Macher has stood the test of time, with updated editions introducing new features and supporting more players. Despite its complex rules, the game offers a deeply engaging experience, requiring players to balance short-term gains with long-term strategy. With no necessary in-game text, Die Macher is accessible to players of all languages, making it a great option for groups looking for a challenging and immersive gaming experience.
