Description

Get ready to shake things up in the empire with the Votes & Virtue expansion for Donning the Purple. This exciting addition brings a host of new content to the table, introducing fresh challenges and opportunities for players to navigate. With the introduction of a new role, the General, players must be careful not to let this powerful figure become too popular among the legions, or they might just find themselves facing a new emperor. The General comes with a unique player mat and can even be played as a fourth player, adding a new dynamic to the game. As players vie for power and influence, they'll need to use their senators to vote on important issues that affect the empire in the new senate phase. The heir also gets an extra player mat with a unique action, and a slew of new cards adds even more depth and complexity to the game. With playtime ranging from 70 to 120 minutes, Votes & Virtue is a substantial expansion that's sure to appeal to fans of the original game. Designed by Petter Schanke Olsen and released in 2020, this expansion is perfect for 1 to 4 players who are familiar with board games and looking for a fun and challenging experience.
