Description

In Dungeons & Dragons: Builders of Baldur's Gate, you get to be the big shot in charge of a powerful family in one of the most iconic cities in the Forgotten Realms. As you build new businesses and extend your influence across the nine districts, you'll grow your prestige and make your family a force to be reckoned with. It's not just about building a bunch of stuff, though - you'll need to navigate the complex web of alliances and rivalries with the three main factions of the city: the Council of Four, the Flaming Fist, and the Thieves' Guild. With easy-to-learn rules, this city-building game is accessible to new players, and with 2 to 5 players, you can gather your friends and family to join in on the fun. As you place buildings and claim them with your influence cubes, you'll see the city come alive in three dimensions. The game includes cool miniatures for special keeps, gates, and watchtowers, with slots for your cubes so you can show off your control. But don't get too comfortable, because the city of Baldur's Gate is always in danger. Mobs of monsters will regularly attack, forcing you to form temporary alliances with other players to fend off the threats. This is where things get really interesting, as each family tries to use these crises to advance their own agendas. With a playtime of 90 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to build, battle, and scheme your way to the top. Designed by acclaimed game designer Matthew Dunstan and published in 2025, Dungeons & Dragons: Builders of Baldur's Gate is a fresh take on the city-building genre. With its unique blend of building, alliances, and monster-bashing, this game is sure to delight fans of the Dungeons & Dragons universe and newcomers alike. So gather your friends, grab some snacks, and get ready to build your way to victory in the city of Baldur's Gate.
