Description
In Ecologic, you're the boss of an extractive company, aiming to make a profit from extracting minerals and oil. However, you soon realize that your big factories are harming the environment, so you need to manage your income wisely to protect and restore the natural world. The game is easy to learn, but it challenges you to balance economic and environmental concerns, making it a great way to model different development scenarios. As you play, you'll run your mining company, trying to increase your income by building oil pumps and mineral mines, while also keeping an eye on your environmental impact. The game features auction bidding, random events, and a unique scoring system that rewards balance between profits and environmental well-being. With playtime ranging from 60 to 180 minutes, Ecologic is a game that will keep you engaged and thinking strategically, especially as you play it multiple times and start to see the cumulative effects of your decisions.
