With a playtime of just 15 to 25 minutes, this game is perfect for a quick showdown, and its normal complexity level means that anyone familiar with board games can dive right in. Published in 2019 and designed by D. Brad Talton, Jr., Exceed: Street Fighter – Ryu Box is a card game that combines the thrill of fighting with the depth of a strategic board game. As you enter the arena, you'll take on the role of one of four iconic Street Fighter characters, each with their own unique abilities and playstyle. Ryu, the well-rounded fighter, excels at counterattacking and mobility, making him a great all-around choice. Sagat, on the other hand, is a master of projectiles and mid-range combat, able to keep opponents at bay with his powerful Special Moves. Akuma is a high-risk, high-reward fighter, capable of unleashing devastating Special Moves but vulnerable to taking extra damage. And then there's Zangief, the deadly grappler who becomes nearly unstoppable at close range. With the combination of hand management, point-to-point movement, and variable player powers, Exceed: Street Fighter – Ryu Box offers a rich and dynamic gameplay experience. The game's focus on strategy and tactics means that players will need to think carefully about their moves, using their characters' unique abilities to outmaneuver and outfight their opponent.
