Description

Get ready to take your Faiyum experience to the next level with Faiyum: Privileges, the exciting new expansion from renowned game designer Friedemann Friese. Released in 2023, this expansion is designed for 1 to 5 players and offers a playtime of 110 to 140 minutes, making it a great addition to your board game nights. With a normal complexity level, fans of the original game will have no issue diving right in and exploring the new mechanics and strategies on offer. The game builds upon the existing Faiyum universe, introducing new privileges that grant players one-time and permanent advantages to help them build and grow their ancient city. These privileges are kept separate from the cards in your hand, allowing you to strategically utilize their effects to enhance your gameplay. Permanent effects alter or add to the effects of your action cards, while one-time effects offer bonus actions that can be used during your turns, giving you even more flexibility and options to achieve your goals. With a mix of action retrieval, deck building, and worker placement mechanics, Faiyum: Privileges offers a fresh and engaging experience that will challenge and reward you as you build and manage your city, making it a must-have expansion for fans of the original game and newcomers alike.
