Description

Get ready to dive into the epic battles of the Farroupilha Revolution with Farrapos, a tactical board game designed by Julio Trois. This game for two players takes you back to 1835, when the longest and bloodiest revolution in Brazil's history began, and the Riograndense Republic was proclaimed. For nearly 10 years, loyalist troops clashed with those of the new Republic, and in Farrapos, you'll experience the thrill of these battles firsthand. With easy-to-learn rules, you'll be immersed in the action from the start, organizing your troops and making strategic decisions to outmaneuver your opponent. As you play through 11 intense rounds, you'll need to master the art of area majority and influence, using point-to-point movement to outposition your opponent and claim the most cities. The game mechanics are straightforward, but the challenges are real, and you'll need to think carefully about how to deploy your infantry, cavalry, and artillery tiles to maximum effect. With dice and tables used to resolve battles, the outcome is never certain, and you'll need to stay on your toes to emerge victorious. Whether you're a fan of wargames or just looking for a fun and strategic challenge, Farrapos is the perfect choice, offering 60 minutes of thrilling gameplay that will keep you coming back for more.
