Description
In the gritty world of Farsight, 2 to 4 players take on the roles of powerful Private Military Corporations, vying for control of the Earth's last remaining resources. This immersive game, designed by Jamie Jolly and published in 2017, combines elements of deduction, science fiction, and wargaming for a unique and thrilling experience. With a playtime of 50 to 90 minutes, players must navigate complex game rules and mechanics, including area majority, dice rolling, and secret unit deployment. As players deploy units and hidden specialists to the battlefield and a parallel 'Shadow Map', they must adapt to changing circumstances, such as weather and deadly plagues, to outmaneuver their opponents. The goal is to capture key areas, with the first player to control 8 of 12 areas or the 3 areas closest to their opponent emerging victorious. With its intricate gameplay and futuristic setting, Farsight offers a challenging and engaging experience for fans of strategic board games.
