Description

Free Market: NYC is a competitive and strategic board game that drops you into the heart of New York City, where the principles of a free market economy come alive in a humorous and ironic way. You'll take on the role of a savvy entrepreneur, managing a team of workers as they tackle various assignments to grow your fortune. With 2 to 5 players competing, the game is perfect for a fun night in with friends, and with a playtime of 90 to 180 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to scheme and strategize your way to the top. As you navigate the game, you'll engage in a range of activities, from bidding on merchandise at auction to delivering goods to shops and factories, and even forming partnerships or taking over other players' businesses. You'll also have the chance to influence politics, attend events, and win awards to give your businesses a boost. With a mix of game mechanics like action queues, area majority, and commodity speculation, there's always something new to think about. The goal is simple: buy low, sell high, and outmaneuver your opponents to become the most successful businessman in the city. With its normal complexity level, Free Market: NYC is easy to learn for fans of board games, and its unique blend of economic, political, and territory-building elements makes it a thrilling challenge that will keep you coming back for more.
