Description

Get ready to immerse yourself in the world of Germania, a medieval-themed board game where you'll take on the role of a Germanic invader seeking to consolidate and expand your holdings in western Europe. Published in 2019 by renowned game designer Lewis Pulsipher, Germania is designed for 2 to 5 players and can be played in under 60 minutes, making it an excellent addition to any game night. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be diving into the action in no time, using Action Points to execute a variety of moves, from creating new settlers to playing Event Cards that can turn the tide of battle. As you navigate the game, you'll need to balance survival with expansion, all while fending off invading nations and potentially clashing with other players. The game is won by scoring points at the end of each century, with the final century counting the most. With its unique blend of "Euro" elements and light historical wargame mechanics, Germania offers a thrilling experience that's equal parts strategy and skill. You can emerge victorious without directly attacking other players, but be prepared for battles to erupt as you compete for dominance. Will you be able to build a thriving civilization and outlast your opponents, or will the invading hordes prove too much to handle? Dive into Germania to find out.
