Description

Get ready to dig deep and strike gold with Glück Auf, a thrilling board game of coal mining and transportation. In this game, you'll take on the role of a coal mine owner in 19th century Essen, where the goal is to extract as much coal as possible from your mine and fulfill orders to earn victory points. The twist is that each order requires a specific type of coal, which can only be found on certain levels of your mine, making every move a strategic decision. With its unique blend of action points, pick-up and deliver, set collection, tile placement, and worker placement mechanics, Glück Auf offers a fun and challenging experience for 2 to 4 players. As you navigate the ups and downs of coal mining, you'll need to manage your resources carefully and make the most of your workers' abilities. The game's normal complexity makes it accessible to players familiar with board games, while its engaging gameplay ensures that everyone will have a blast. With a playtime of 60 to 75 minutes, Glück Auf is the perfect game for a fun evening with friends or family. This limited edition version, designed by Michael Kiesling and Wolfgang Kramer, is a rare treat that's sure to delight both new and experienced players, so gather your friends and get ready to shout "Glück Auf" as you dig your way to victory.
