Description

Get ready to dive back into the intrigue-filled world of Gray Eminence with the Year of Chaos expansion, designed by Ren Multamäki and released in 2021. This expansion builds upon the original game, where 3 to 6 players take on the roles of powerful advisors, navigating the complex web of politics and deception. With its simple ruleset that can be explained quickly, you'll be thrown into the midst of a chaotic year, where the goal is to emerge as the most influential force behind the scenes. With a playtime of 60 to 90 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to scheme, negotiate, and manipulate your way to the top. As an expansion, Year of Chaos doesn't introduce new rules, but instead offers more of the same high-quality content that made the base game so engaging. You'll still be using action queues, auctions, and hand management to outmaneuver your opponents, all while trying to stay one step ahead of their plans. The game is all about bluffing, deduction, and negotiation, as you try to gain the upper hand in the world of politics. With the ability to trade and vote, you'll need to be cunning and strategic in your approach, all while keeping your true intentions hidden from your fellow players. In Year of Chaos, the stakes are high, and the opportunities for manipulation are plentiful. As you navigate the challenges of the game, you'll need to use all your skills of deduction and negotiation to come out on top. With its engaging gameplay and simple ruleset, this expansion is perfect for fans of the original game looking for more content to sink their teeth into. So gather your friends, and get ready to experience the thrill of Gray Eminence: Year of Chaos, where the art of politics meets the art of deception.
