Description

Hellenica: Story of Greece – Leaders and Legends is an exciting expansion that takes the base game to a whole new level. With the ability to recruit legendary leaders, you can modify the characteristics of your city-state and gain a unique advantage over your opponents. Imagine being able to call upon the strength of Heracles to defeat mythological creatures, or the wisdom of Socrates to boost your research capabilities. Each leader has their own special abilities, and they can be a game-changer in your quest for dominance. The leaders are represented by decks of cards that appear in a market, where you can review and recruit the ones you want. But be warned, other players may have their eyes on the same leaders, and they won't serve two city-states. This adds a whole new level of strategy to the game, as you need to outmaneuver your opponents to get the leaders you need. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you can dive right into the action, and with playtime ranging from 120 to 180 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to explore the world of ancient Greece and build your city-state into a powerhouse. Whether you're playing solo or with up to 6 friends, this expansion offers a fresh and exciting experience. In Hellenica: Story of Greece – Leaders and Legends, you'll experience the thrill of building and managing your city-state, navigating the challenges of ancient Greece, and competing against other players to emerge victorious. With its unique blend of area majority, area movement, dice rolling, and worker placement mechanics, this game offers something for everyone. Designed by Scott DeMers and published in 2021, this expansion is a must-have for fans of the base game, and a great introduction to the world of Hellenica for new players. So gather your friends, choose your leaders, and get ready to embark on an epic adventure through the ancient world.
