Description

Dive into the clash of ancient steel and fantasy fury with Heroscape: Malliddon's Prophecy – the IX Roman Legion Army Expansion. This 2004 gem from designers Stephen Baker, Rob Daviau, and Craig Van Ness drops a full‑blown Roman legion into your Heroscape battles, letting 2‑4 players field disciplined legions alongside wizards, monsters, and sci‑fi heroes. The rules are razor‑simple, so you’ll be rolling dice, queuing actions, and marching your miniatures across the iconic hex‑grid and three‑dimensional terrain in under an hour. Whether you’re plugging this into the Master Set: Rise of the Valkyrie, the Marvel Conflict Begins box, or any of the other Heroscape battle boxes, the legion adds a crunchy, tactical flavor that makes every skirmish feel like a historic showdown with a fantasy twist. Expect fast‑paced, head‑to‑head combat that’s easy to pick up but deep enough to keep veterans hooked, all while your figurines climb cliffs, leap across bridges, and dominate the battlefield. Grab the expansion and let the Roman roar echo across your tabletop!
