Description
In Imhotep, you become a builder in ancient Egypt, aiming to outdo your opponents by constructing the most impressive monuments. Over six rounds, you'll move wooden stones by boat to create five seminal structures, all while navigating the actions of other players who are trying to thwart your plans. With simple rules to learn, you'll be focused on timing and strategy from the start. As you choose from four actions each turn - procuring new stones, loading stones on a boat, bringing a boat to a monument, or playing an action card - you'll need to stay one step ahead of your opponents to succeed. With its unique blend of area majority, set collection, and modular board mechanics, Imhotep offers a fun and challenging experience for 2 to 4 players, all in about 40 minutes.
