Description

Imperial Settlers: Rise of the Empire is an exciting expansion that breathes new life into the original Imperial Settlers game. Designed by Joanna Kijanka and released in 2020, this expansion introduces a fresh layer of gameplay with an open-world campaign setting, where players can build and advance their empires at their own pace. With the ability to play with 1 to 4 players, you can embark on a solo journey or team up with friends to explore new eras, goals, technologies, discoveries, and provinces. The game's normal complexity makes it accessible to those familiar with board games, and with a playtime of 45 to 90 minutes, you can easily fit in a game or two into your evening. As you play through the campaign, you'll have access to 220 new cards, divided into Provinces, Goals & Achievements, and Technologies & Discoveries, which will help you shape your empire and achieve victory. The expansion also streamlines gameplay, shortening each game from five to four rounds, making it easier to get started and dive into the action. With its unique blend of drafting, contracts, and variable player powers, Imperial Settlers: Rise of the Empire offers a thrilling experience that will keep you coming back for more. Whether you're a seasoned fan of the original game or new to the series, this expansion is sure to delight, offering a fun and engaging experience that's perfect for anyone looking to build and conquer their own empire.
