Description
In the bustling bazaar of Istanbul, merchants and their assistants rush to be the most successful. As a merchant, you'll lead your group through 16 locations, each with its own action to take. You'll need to plan carefully, moving your merchant and assistants one or two steps at a time, leaving assistants behind to handle tasks and picking them up later to avoid being left with no help. Your goal is to collect a certain number of rubies by filling your wheelbarrow with goods, acquiring special abilities, and trading with others. With a playtime of 40 to 60 minutes, Istanbul is a game of strategy and timing, suitable for 2 to 5 players. Designed by Rüdiger Dorn, this 2014 economic game is easy to learn for those familiar with board games, and its modular board and variable setup ensure a unique experience each time you play.
