Description

Kamon is a quick and clever abstract strategy game designed by Bruno Cathala, perfect for two players looking for a challenge that can be learned in no time. With a playtime of just 15 minutes, you can dive into a game of Kamon whenever you want, and its easy-to-learn rules make it accessible to players of all skill levels. The game takes place on a hexagonal grid, where players take turns placing pawns based on the tokens that fill the grid. These tokens feature different colors and symbols, and each player must carefully consider their moves to outmaneuver their opponent. As you play, you'll need to think strategically about how to connect your pawns, surround your opponent's, or block their next move. The game ends when one of three victory conditions is met: connecting two opposite edges of the grid, surrounding one or more hexes with a loop of pawns, or preventing your opponent from placing a pawn. With its unique blend of enclosure, hexagon grid, network, and route-building mechanics, Kamon offers a fun and engaging experience that will keep you coming back for more. First published in 2007, Kamon has established itself as a classic abstract strategy game that is sure to provide hours of entertainment for fans of the genre.
