Description

Keys to the Ice Castle is a super fun and strategic game that's all about racing through a maze to reach the other side. Designed by Alex Foster and published in 2019, this game is perfect for 2 to 4 players who are looking for a quick and exciting challenge. The rules are easy to learn, so you can dive right in and start playing, and with a playtime of just 10 to 20 minutes, you can fit in a game or two even on the busiest of days. As you navigate the maze, you'll use special cards like the axe, magic wand, slide, or freeze to help yourself or hinder your opponents. The twist is that the maze is made up of tiles that can be opened or locked, so you'll need to think carefully about how to use these tiles to your advantage. With grid movement and hand management mechanics, you'll need to balance your own progress with the need to disrupt your opponents. And with the "take that" mechanic, you can expect plenty of surprises and setbacks along the way. The best part is that the game is different every time you play, thanks to the random shuffle of tiles and cards, so you'll never get bored. Whether you're a fan of maze games or just looking for a fun and social experience, Keys to the Ice Castle is a great choice.
