Description
Get ready to explore a mysterious island with La Isla, a game designed by Stefan Feld. You and up to three other players will send out teams of scientists to capture and study animal species, scoring points along the way. The game board is made up of modular tiles, creating a unique landscape for each playthrough. With easy-to-learn rules, you'll be discovering new species in no time. On each turn, you'll use a combination of card play and strategic planning to outmaneuver your opponents. Collect resources, place scientists in camps, and claim animal tokens to earn points. As you progress, you'll have opportunities to increase the value of certain animals, earning even more points. The game ends when the total value of all animals reaches a certain threshold, and the player with the most points is declared the winner. With playtime ranging from 30 to 60 minutes, La Isla is a fun and engaging experience for 2 to 4 players.
