The game combines engaging mechanics like deck, bag, and pool building, multiple maps, storytelling, and worker placement, set against a rich backdrop of adventure, fantasy, and medieval themes. As you navigate the academy and beyond, you'll build a deck of skill cards, go on quests, and explore multiple maps, all while trying to outdo your fellow students. Your goal is to gain the most points by learning new skills, accomplishing scenario-specific objectives, and finding treasure. With playtime ranging from 45 to 150 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to immerse yourself in the game's immersive world, inspired by the Renaissance and novel-based themes. The player with the most points at the end will be crowned valedictorian, winning the game and cementing their place in legend.
