Description

Get ready to take on the ultimate challenge in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne – The Board Game: Velkhana Expansion, a thrilling cooperative game for 1 to 4 players. This expansion brings to life the legendary Velkhana, an elder dragon with the power to control the cold and summon massive ice spires to block your path. With its simple rules and fast-paced gameplay, you'll be immersed in a world of fantasy and adventure, working together with your fellow hunters to defeat this magnificent creature. In this 60 to 90 minute game, you'll embark on new campaign quests, arena quests, and choice-driven narratives that will test your skills and strategy. With the introduction of a 5-star quest, you'll have the opportunity to dethrone Velkhana and claim victory. The expansion also includes every craftable Velkhana weapon type from the video game, giving you a wide range of options to customize your hunter and take down the enemy. Designed by Mat Hart and Jamie Perkins, this 2025 release is a must-have for fans of the Monster Hunter series and cooperative games alike. Will you be the one to end Velkhana's frozen reign and emerge victorious? Gather your friends, gear up, and get ready to take on the challenge.
