Description

In the harsh and rugged world of Nord, players take on the role of a clan leader, guiding their Northmen through the challenges of medieval life. The game is set in a land of deep fjords, dark forests, and snow-capped mountains, where survival is a daily struggle. With a playtime of just 30 minutes, Nord is a quick and intense experience that's perfect for 2 to 4 players. The game's normal complexity makes it easy for board game enthusiasts to pick up, and its modular board ensures that each game is unique. As players navigate the world of Nord, they'll need to balance the needs of their workers, warriors, and settlements. They'll place workers to gather resources, launch attacks on neighboring settlements, and unite their people under a strong leader. The game is won by earning the most points, which are awarded for delivering resources, defeating enemies, and accumulating treasure. With its mix of strategy, resource management, and combat, Nord is a thrilling game that's full of surprises. Designed by Roland Goslar and Johannes Goslar, and first published in 2015, Nord is a civilization-building game that's all about building a strong and prosperous clan in a unforgiving medieval world.
