Description
Picture yourself on the icy frontier of the North, building settlements, trading resources, and negotiating with allies while the dice decide whether the Wall holds or the wildlings breach. A Game of Thrones Catan: Brotherhood of the Watch is a 3‑to‑4 player mash‑up that blends the classic Catan formula with the gritty world of George R.R. Martin, courtesy of designers Klaus and Benjamin Teuber. In about an hour to an hour‑quarter you’ll lay down a modular board of hexes, manage your hand of wood, brick, ore, grain and wool, and weave roads and settlements into a network that protects the realm. The fun comes from the back‑and‑forth trading, the thrill of dice‑rolled resource booms, and the constant jockeying for the best spots on the map. It’s normal‑complexity, so seasoned board gamers pick it up fast, and the 2017 base game even has extensions for five‑to‑six players and extra northern houses if you crave more chaos.
