Description

Nova Aetas: Under Siege is an epic expansion that drops you right into the heart of the battle between Emperor Charles V and Pope Clement VII of Rome. The stage is set in 16th century Italy, where the Lansquenet troops are marching towards the eternal city, determined to take it down, and only one brave soul, Captain Giovanni dalle Bande Nere, dares to stand in their way with his company of fierce warriors. You get to choose whether to join the captain's quest to save Rome or to side with the Emperor's troops and be part of the siege - the decision is yours, and the fate of history hangs in the balance. This expansion adds a ton of exciting new content to the base game, including 10 fresh missions that will put your skills to the test, and a brand new hero class, the Lancer, which brings a whole new level of strategy to the game. You'll also get to meet two new groups, the Lansquenets and the Black Bands, each led by their own charismatic captains, and featuring 13 new miniatures to add to your collection. The game also includes a new scenic element, the church, which adds a new layer of depth to the game board.
