Description
In Peloponnes, you'll take control of ancient Greek civilizations, developing them over 8 rounds through auctions and strategic tile placement. As you add territory and prestigious buildings, your civilization will grow in inhabitants, luxury, wealth, and power. Luxury goods will give you flexibility in providing for your population, while some tiles offer protection against disasters that can strike at any time. With easy-to-learn rules, Peloponnes is accessible to 1 to 5 players, and a typical game lasts around 45 minutes. Designed by Bernd Eisenstein, this 2009 game combines auction, tile placement, and variable player powers to create a fun and challenging experience.
