Description

It's election time and the battle for Putrajaya is on in Politiko, a wacky and cynical card game about winning the Malaysian general election. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be diving into the world of Malaysian politics in no time, scheming and strategizing your way to victory with up to 5 friends. Choose from 9 distinct political parties, each with their own unique abilities and voter restrictions, and get ready to woo voters with cash handouts, petrol subsidies, or even hudud law. As the leader of your chosen party, your goal is to be the first to collect 8 voter cards, and you'll stop at nothing to get them. Hire phantom voters, control the media, and even cook up a sex scandal to alienate your enemy's supporters - it's all fair game in Politiko. But beware, alliances can be formed and broken, and your friends may not be as loyal as you think. With a playtime of just 45 minutes, you'll be immersed in the cutthroat world of Malaysian politics, using hand management and team-based gameplay to outmaneuver your opponents. And if you're looking for even more challenge, you can always add the Sabah & Sarawak Expansion Set to the mix. In Politiko, it's not about the people, it's about winning, and you'll need all your wits and cunning to come out on top. With its unique blend of politics and strategy, this game is sure to provide hours of entertainment for you and your friends. So gather your friends, choose your party, and get ready to fight for victory - after all, as the game says, Lawan tetap lawan, or let's fight for victory.
