Description

Get ready to take your Politiko experience to the next level with the Sabah & Sarawak Expansion Set, released in 2014. This expansion adds a fresh layer of strategy and depth to the original game, allowing 3 to 6 players to navigate the complex world of East Malaysian politics. With simple game rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be diving into the action in no time, managing your hand of cards to outmaneuver your opponents and win over the hearts and minds of voters in Sabah and Sarawak. In this expansion, you'll have the opportunity to woo East Malaysian voters with promises of clean water and electricity, or risk alienating them with excessive logging. You can force your rivals to splinter, grant citizenship to immigrants, or even play up the threat of invasions by a foreign sultanate to get ahead. The game introduces three new political parties with unique abilities, allowing you to rally around the Huguan Siou or enforce the White-haired Rajah's will. With 45 minutes of playtime, you'll need to think on your feet and make tactical decisions to come out on top. The East is your fixed deposit, so spend it well - will you focus on building support among the local population, or try to exploit the region's resources for your own gain? The Sabah & Sarawak Expansion Set offers a fun and engaging way to explore the complexities of Malaysian politics, with a healthy dose of humor and satire thrown in. Whether you're a seasoned Politiko player or new to the game, this expansion is sure to deliver hours of entertaining gameplay and challenging strategic decisions.
