Description
In Promised Land: 1250-587 BC, 2 to 6 players are transported back in time to the ancient world, competing in teams to emerge victorious. The game spans a significant period in history, from Joshua to the Babylonian captivity, and players take on the roles of Hebrew and Heathen kingdoms. Each player has a set of characters, including Farmers, Merchants, and Priests, which can be placed in conquered lands to collect valuable coins. As players navigate the game, they must make strategic decisions about how to use their coins, choosing between buying artefacts to influence gameplay or securing objectives on the Kingdom track to score victory points. With a variety of strategies available, players must balance individual and team goals to succeed. The game's unique blend of area majority, influence, and team-based gameplay makes for a thrilling experience that will keep players engaged for its 150-minute playtime.
