Description
Red Flag Over Paris is a challenging and immersive card-driven wargame that drops you into the intense confrontation between the Communards and the government in Versailles during the 1871 Paris Commune. As one of these factions, you'll fight for control over Paris, navigating both military and political spaces to win the hearts and minds of the French population. With limited resources, you'll need to make tough decisions about when to focus on political influence or military dominance. In this 20 to 40 minute game, you'll manage your momentum, using cards to represent critical personalities or significant events to place or remove influence cubes, buy events, or build momentum. The game culminates in a Final Crisis, where you'll play all your remaining cards to secure victory. Designed by Fred Serval and published in 2021, Red Flag Over Paris offers a unique blend of action, area majority, and campaign mechanics that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
