Description

Get ready to take your Runebound: Second Edition experience to the next level with the Rituals and Runes expansion. This exciting addition introduces a new type of item to the game: rituals. These powerful magic spells require you to roll and expend specific terrain symbols before you can use them, but the payoff is well worth the effort. Rituals are far more potent and versatile than other items of the same cost, giving you a major edge in the fight for glory and power. With Rituals and Runes, you'll have even more opportunities to master the art of magic and outmaneuver your opponents. The game is designed for 2 to 6 players, and with a playtime of around 120 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to explore the world of Runebound and unleash your magical prowess. Don't worry if you're new to board games - the rules are of normal complexity, so you'll be able to jump in and start playing with ease. The game mechanics are based on roll and spin, move, and set collection, which adds a fun and dynamic element to the gameplay. Published in 2008 and designed by Darrell Hardy and Robert Vaughn, Rituals and Runes is a fantastic addition to the Runebound series. As an expansion for the base game, it builds on the existing world and gameplay, offering a fresh and exciting experience for fans of the series. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or just looking for a new challenge, Rituals and Runes is a great way to mix things up and take your Runebound experience to new heights. With its unique blend of magic, strategy, and adventure, this expansion is sure to provide hours of entertainment for you and your friends.
